Pam Ehrhardt has developed a Medallion Mystery Quilt project that will start on Monday, November 13, and end in April 2018. The quilt will include a center block surrounded by five borders, so there will be six "installments." Instructions for each part will be posted on the OCQG website on the second Monday of each month. Copies will also be available at the Guild meeting that evening for those without access to the web.

About the design:
Like all medallion quilts this mystery quilt has a center block, surrounded by multiple borders. It would look great as a scrappy quilt. The pieces required are no bigger than 3” square. The light background fabric can be scrappy too, for example, various white, off-white and cream background fabrics combined with assorted print and/or solid medium and dark fabrics. Quilt patterns emerge best when high contrast fabric choices in color and/or value are made.
You will need approximately 2 yards total of light background and 2 yards total of medium-dark fabrics to finish the quilt top.
The finished quilt will measure 42” x 42”, so would qualify for the Guild's July 2018 Challenge.

If you have the piecing (or the entire quilt?) done in time, bring it to the April meeting!
